These are worth checking out!

A true players’ iron, T100 offers confidence-inspiring looks and Tour-quality performance with signature Titleist feel. A new fully-forged cavity construction is balanced by co-forged, dual-density tungsten for precise distance control with exceptional stability.

T200 delivers powerfully playable distance with a tour-inspired look and feel. Max Impact technology spreads maximum speed and distance control evenly across T200’s thin, forged Lface – with high launch and stopping power – to convert near misses into nearly perfect.

T300 offers the most forgiving player’s experience possible with a modern shape that rewards with faster ball speeds and preferred feel. Max Impact technology extends maximum speed across an extremely forgiving mid-size face, powering a fast cavity-back design that delivers the best combination of high launch, long distance and forgiveness.

“There are three key elements to hitting a great iron shot: distance, dispersion and angle of descent,” said Marni Ines, Director, Titleist Irons Development, Golf Club R&D. “T-Series technology helps players carry the ball longer and hit their number more consistently, even when they don’t make a perfect strike. Dispersion is tighter, so the ball stays on target. And trajectory is optimized, so the ball not only lands on the green, but stays there. Length means nothing if you don’t have control.”

2 Person NSW Ambrose Qualifier - Medley 2 Person Ambrose

This fun event will be held at The Heads Golf Club on Sunday 11 August 2019. Tee times are available from 9am - 11am. The championship is open to men, women and mixed pairs.

The championship fees are $25.00 per person which includes lunch.

Each pair must have a minimum combined daily handicap of 8 (eg. if one player’s daily handicap is 4 and the second players daily handicap is 2 - they cannot play together because their combined of 6 is less than 8).

The difference between each player’s daily handicap is limited to 20 strokes (eg. If the lowest daily handicap is 5, their partner must play off no more than a daily handicap of 25). Note that a player with a higher handicap, say 30 strokes, may play off a handicap of 25 in the above example.

Each playing pair’s Ambrose handicap will be ¼ of their combined daily handicap (eg. 5 and 25 in the above example will have a combined Ambrose handicap of 7.5).

Each player must use and record a minimum of 6 tee shots during a round.

Mixed Foursomes (over 18 holes)

The Mixed Foursomes competition was held today with a competitive field of 40 players. Three pairs finished with the best gross score of 81 strokes. The three pairs who finished on a gross 81 stokes are:
• Cheryl and Peter Grinlinton
• Leslee Maddinson and Luke Taylor
• Tara Mackie and Geoff Collins

Since Tara had to leave early, we had a two way play off between Cheryl / Peter Grinlinton, and Lee Maddinson / Luke Taylor. The play off comprised the best score over three holes, the 10th, 11th and 12th holes. As the scores remained tied after the additional three holes, they continued back down the 10th, 11th and 12th holes except this time it was a sudden death, with the winner of the hole taking the prize. Unfortunately, after tying the 10th hole, Luke hit his tee shot over the back of the green and out of bounds on the 11th hole.

We congratulate Cheryl and Peter Grinlinton on their win of the gross prize.

The nett winners are Ed Szczepanowski and Lynne Davis with a nett 71 strokes.

The nett runner up pair are Karl and Valda Schroder with a nett 71.5 strokes.
